Yeap, this is my improvised flower vase, result from watching way too many times that fabulous Lady Dior short film with the gorgeous Marion Cotillard. The truth is always been in love with this iconic Dior bag that Princess Diana made her favorite and strolled around all over the world. Hence that this design was renamed Lady Dior under her own agreement. Yes people, not just a bag, you are in front of a piece of history, reinvented. Now watch the video it's definitely is a laugh.

Si, éste es mi improvisado jarrón de flores resultado de haber visto demasiadas veces el corto de Lady Dior (es genial!) con la impresionantemente guapa Marion Cotillard. La verdad es que siempre he estado enamorado de este bolso de Dior que Lady Di convirtió en su favorito y se paseó por medio mundo con él. De ahí que éste modelo de bolso fuera renombrado Lady Dior bajo su consentimiento. Sí queridos mios, no es solo un bolso, estais delante de un trozo de historia, reinventado. I know, what am I doing lost in a garden instead of walking around Milan from show to show? Well, this is what happens when you have loads of projects in hands, you can't always be everywhere. This weekend I've spent such a wonderful time sticking shells with a glue-gun everywhere (random I know), eating pasta and disconnecting from the world.

Lo sé, qué hago perdido en un jardín en lugar de estar en Milan de desfile en desfile? Bueno, es lo que pasa cuando tienes tantos proyectos entre manos, no siempre se puede estar en todos lados. Spent Christmas in Marbella, and just landed in Oviedo after a few days in London. I'm ready to enjoy proper food, celebrate the new year and get a bit of rest before I head back to work next week. There has been so much going on on the last days I need some time to assimilate it all, I had so much fun! As soon as I landed in this beautiful city we had a walk around San Francisco park, one of my favorite places to walk my dog and hide with my thoughts.

Preparado para la buena comida casera, celebrar año nuevo y descansar un poco antes de volver al trabajo la semana que viene. The truth is I never feel far from you, London. Growing up here has made become a Londoner at heart and no one can take that away from me. Walking those very same streets that took me to college, to work, to the park and, of course, shopping almost bring tears to my eyes, tears of happiness. London is the best city in the whole world and just like this sale assistant was saying to me today: London allows you to be whoever you want to be. That's why people here are so authentic, or at least my friends are. I must not forget how free I feel when I'm with you, my dear London

La verdad es que nunca me siento lejos de ti, Londres. Crecer aquí me ha hecho convertirme en un Londinense de corazón y nadie me podrá quitar eso. Caminar por estas calles, las mismas que me llevaron a la universidad, al trabajo, al parque y por su puesto de compras, casi hace que se me salten las lágrimas, lágrimas de felicidad. Londres es la mejor ciudad del mundo, no hay duda, y es que como bien me decía hoy un dependiente: Londres te permite ser quien quieras ser. Por eso la gente aquí es tan auténtica, o por lo menos mis amigos lo son. No debo olvidarme nunca de lo libre que me siento cuando estoy contigo, mi querido Londres.

There is a stupid war between being welldress and badly dress when all that matters is having (not even good) personal style and attitude. Who hasn't walked into a club and been laughed at by an uni-neuron bouncer that can't even count 1+1 yet they think they know better about fashion than you? Well I've been in that position MANY times so I think someone should write some rules about why sportswear are not just for sports. Two things are for sure: Suits on a weekend are for posers or wannabes unless, of course, they are actually working and whoever says -I dont ever wear tracksuits, they are vulgar..., probably wears them indoors. And anyway, better to be vulgar than boring.

Hay una guerra estúpida entre ir bien vestido y mal vestido cuando lo único que importa es tener (ya no digo buen) estilo propio y actitud. Quién no ha intentado entrar en un club y un portero mononeurona que no sabe ni sumar 1+1 se ha creido que sabía más sobre moda que tú? A mi me ha pasado un monton de veces así que creo que alguien (que entienda) debería de escribir unas lineas de por qué los chandal no son sólo para hacer deporte. De estas dos cosas estoy seguro: Los trajes durante el fin de semana es para gente que quiere dar el pego y aparentar lo que no es, (a no ser que esten currando de verdad), y que los que dicen -Yo nunca me pongo chandal, osea es como vulgar..., probablemente se lo pongan en casa, cuando nadie les ve. Y aun así, mejor ser vulgar que un aburrimiento de persona.

Winter can be such a boring season, everybody thinking (and acting) gray, so depressing.

That's why this floor tile inspired jumper has to be one of my favorite jumpers I've ever had, I've been wearing it non-stop and it was such a huge success on my last visit to Russia, such a happy jumper! I also couldn't resist myself to this, my new gym bag, suede piece made in heaven. Both Davidelfin, for who I'm now consultant and accessories designer, so excited!

Invierno puede ser la temporada más aburrida, con tanta gente pensando y actuando en gris, deprimente... Por eso este jersey de inspiración baldosa-hidraulica es uno de los favoritos que he tenido en mi vida, me lo he puesto sin parar y tuvo tanto exito en mi última visita a Rusia, es un jersey buenrollero! Tampoco me pude resistir a esta presiosidad de ante, mi nueva bolsa de gimnasio. Ambos de Davidelfin, para el que ahora trabajo como consultant y diseñador de acceosorios, estoy muy contento!

So I've come to Oviedo in northen Spain, where I'm from and where my family lives, for a couple of days to charge batteries, pick up a few things and why not saying it, to wish my grandmother Esther a happy birthday! Coming to my motherland not always brings me good memories since I've been once bored teenager here but I can appreciate now its beauty and it's people. I'll be back for new years and I'm sure we'll have a blast! Anyway, next week I'll be visiting my other family, my London family, and I just cannot wait to walk down those streets again, specially since I won't be going on my own but with the best company I could ask for.

Pues aquí estoy, he venido a Oviedo, de donde soy y donde mi familia vive, un par de días para cargar baterías, recoger algunas cosas y por que no decirlo, para desearle en persona un feliz cumpleaños a mi abuela Esther! Venir a la ciudad que me vió nacer no siempre me trae buenos recuerdos, me aburría tanto... pero ahora puedo apreciar su belleza y su gente. Volveré para celebrar fin de año y estoy seguro de que nos lo pasaremos en grande! Bueno, el caso es que la semana que viene iré a visitar a mi otra familia, la que tengo en Londres, y me muero de ganas de caminar por esas calles de nuevo, especialmente porque no voy solo, sino con la mejor compañía que se puede pedir.

Loving my Theyskens' Theory bag, it ticks all the boxes regarding my military taste, and it's perfect to go around doing errands as it's zero pretentious so you never feel like you are gonna get mugged for wearing it, yet it has this indescribable luxury feel to it, maybe it's the soft suede, or the reachable front pocket trough the little hole or the million ways you can wear it across one shoulder with the multi-straps. I just love it. Also sending a big kiss to my Emporio Armani jacket too. God I love leather items in its multiple forms!

Cómo me gusta mi bolsa de Theyskens' Theory, encaja perfectamente en mis gustos militares, y como es cero pretenciosa es perfecta para ir a hacer recados sin sentirte que te van a atracar por llevarla encima pero aún así tiene un algo lujoso, indescriptible. Quizá sea el ante tan suave con el que está hecha, o el bolsillo frontal al que se puede acceder sin levantar la tapa o las diferentes maneras en las que puedes llevarla al hombro ya que tiene un montón de tiras. You all know I love a park, and a kilt, and some bling so those that know me wont be taken by surprise with this outfit, right? I realize I was getting used to the comfy clothes, I thought I would go back to my London style... And with comfy I don't mean these are not comfortable to wear, they are, but it is uncomfortable how people look at you sometimes. After a whole week browsing through the runin2.com luxury e-shop I made up my mind,

I needed another bag for my everyday errands, with a bit of color, in leather, not too big and with a

contemporary touch. Finally I found the perfect one from Proenza Schouler, possibly known as the

8th wonder of the world but humbly named PS11 mini-classic. Oh yeah!

Después de una semana entera enganchado a la e-tienda de lujo runin2.com lo tenía clarisimo,

necesitaba otro bolso para el día a día, para ir de aquí para allá con un poco de color, que fuera en

That was one of my inspirations when every Sunday evening inLondon we were getting ready for Family, Boombox or Ponystep, parties thatrecovered the club-kid essence from the 90s. That’s why, with these customized Vans, I’m trying to do my ownpersonal homage to that time. I’m going to wear them till they fall off, I lovethem!

Cuánto me hubiera gustado haber sido un pocomayor en los 90 para haber vivido aquella creativa cultura de club, donde club-kidsy skeaters bailaban en comunión house y hip-hop. Los flyers no eran merospanfletos informativos sino verdaderas obras de arte, y no había normas a lahora de vestir mientras uno no pasara desapercibido. Yo levantaba la mano a esta preguntacada vez que llegaba el domingo en Londres y nos vestíamos para ir a Family,Boombox o los comienzos de Ponystep, que recuperaban el espíritu club-kid delos 90. Marie Claire Awards

Last Thursday took place the Marie Claire awards at the French Ambassador’s residence, in Madrid, and of course, I was well excited for two reasons: Daphne Guinness was coming (she confirmed to me via twitter), and I was finally going to wear the square-block look that David Delfín had made for me. I had been dressed for events many times before but this was the first time a recognised designer like David had actually designed something and make it especially for me. What am I going to say, you all know how much I like his stuff, it was such an honour, and we had an amazing time!

El jueves pasado tuvo lugar los Prix de la moda Marie Claire en la residencia del embajador de Francia, en Madrid, y yo me moria de ganas de ir por dos motivos: Daphne Guinness vendría (me confirmo su asistencia por twitter), y por fin estrenaría el conjunto que David Delfín había hecho para mi. He sido vestido para eventos muchas veces pero esta era la primera vez que un diseñador reconocido como David había diseñado algo expresamente para mi. As promised, here we are partying hard. Last Thursday Gala, Miranda and Gerard were dj-ing at the Maguen 11:11 party in Madrid so I knew I'd be down to some fun. Felt really lucky to be the first and only one in Spain wearing the Versace + H&M stuff before anyone else, got so many people asking me how did I managed! Well now you guys can get your hands on a unique outfit from the show, just go on to my facebook page and find out how. I'm telling you this collection is a party itself! From the so called Miami-print to the bling-bling jewelry I can't wait for it to be in stores to get more more and more!

Me sentí muy afortunado de ser el primero y único en España en llevar la colección de Versace + H&M antes que nadie, algunos se me acercaban a preguntarme como lo había conseguido! Yummy lunch with the gorgeous Rumi (fashiontoast.com) and sweet Bryan (bryanboy.com) at Pastis on Wednesday. You can't really stay in a hotel at the Meatpacking District, and after spending you teenage years watching Sex and The City not go to Pastis, right? Now back in Madrid, a couple of nights ago went out ad finally wore my Versace + H&M newbies! Will post some pictures soon. By the way, in the next few days there I'll do an outfit give away from the collection on my official facebook page, I never do this so stay tunned!

El miércoles pasé una tarde genial, comiendo con la guapa Rumi (fashiontoast) y Bryanboy en Pastis. No puedes pretender quedarte en un hotel en pleno Meatpacking District, pasar tu adolesencia enganchado a la serie Sexo en Nueva York y luego no ir a Pastis! Ahora estoy de vuelta en Madrid, hace un par de noches salí de fiesta y pude estrenar mis nuevas adquisiciones de Versace + H&M, subiré fotos muy pronto! Those who like me were born on the late 80's and remember more or less nothing about the 90's are in luck because even though our blood carries the energy from that period sadly we do not remember much about it. And I say we are in luck because the brilliant Donatella has decided to finally open the archive that her brother Gianni made back then and bring it to the future not only for those who didn't have a chance to buy those wonders at that time or to the nostalgic who actually enjoyed that colorful Versace phase but also to those who still wouldn't have been able to afford it, bling bling included!

Im so happy I got to see the show that took place a couple of days ago in New York and such a surprise that Nicki Minaj and Prince where playing at the after party! It was definitely, a night to remember. The morning after the show, at the press conference, Donatella kept mentioning her enthusiasm in seeing the young people, the internet generation, wearing it our own way and how much her brother Gianni would have enjoyed this moment. Fashion is a dream , and no-one should take it away from us, concluded Donatella, divine, flicking her blond hair and gifting us with a wide smile. It couldn't all have happened in a better scenario, in New York City, where dreams come true. I only have one more thing to add: Beautiful iconic Versace pieces, welcome home!

Aquellos que nacimos en los últimos coletazos de los 80 y que poco recordamos de los 90 estamos de enhorabuena porque aunque llevemos en la sangre aquella energía de entonces pues no nos acordamos. Y digo que estamos de enhorabuena porque la gran Donatella ha decidido abrir los archivos que su hermano Gianni creó por aquel entonces y ponerlo a disposición no sólo de los que no tuvimos a oportunidad de comprar aquellas maravillas por aquel entonces o de los nostalgicos que disfrutaron de tan enérgica fase Versacesca sino también los que aún así no se lo hubieran podido permitir (matando tres pájaros de un tiro), con todo el dorado incluido!

Ha sido toda una experiencia este viaje relampago a Nueva York para disfrutar no solo de un desfile en toda regla gracias a H&M, sino de una fiesta posterior con actuación de Nicki Minaj y Prince incluida! Y para rematar, en la conferencia de prensa que se nos concedió al día siguiente Donatella hacía incapié una y otra vez en la gente jóven y en el mundo de internet, y en cuanto habría disfrutado su hermano Gianni de este momento. La moda es un sueño, y nadie debería de arrebatarnoslo, concluía ella, divina, al gesto de un movimiento de melena rubia y amplia sonrisa. Y es que no podría haber sido en ningun otro lugar, Nueva York, donde los sueños se hacen realidad. Benditas prendas iconicas de Versace, bienvenidas a casa.

I obviously can't read it but I'm gonna trust the Korean version of L'Officiel Hommes has published the interview as it was, without mixing. Not one of my favorites but i'm gonna paste it down here so you guys can have a closer look to the katelovesme world. It might sound corny but I still get butterflies in my tummy everytime I get a feature like this in a magazine.

Obviamente no entiendo lo que han puesto pero voy a confiar en que la version Koreana de L'Officiel Hommes haya publicado la entrevista como era, sin tergiversar nada. No es una de mis favoritas pero la he pegado aqui para que le podais echar un ojo mas de cerca a mi mundo katelovesme. Suena cursi pero todavia tengo mariposas en el estomago cada vez que veo una pagina entera en una revista dedicada a mi trabajo.

I was so looking forward to discover Moscow that although was an intense trip it was way too short!

What impressed me the most was, of course, the architecture, the clash between the stalinist cold buildings with more colorful and plasticine-made looking others, like St. Basil's Cathedral, which actually looks more like a Disneyland attraction rather than something to do with religion. Aside from the must-see locations I also had a chance to enjoy one of my biggest hobbies when traveling: Markets! And so the visit to the Izmailovo market did not disappoint, totally recommended if you guys are visiting soon!

Tenía tantas ganas de conocer Moscú que aunque fue un viaje intenso me supo a poco! Lo que más me impresionó fue, como no, la arquitectura, el choque entre edificios frios estalinistas con otros coloristas y moldeados cual plastilina, como la catedral de San Basilio, que parece mas una atracción digna de Eurodisney que nada perteneciente a la religión. Y a parte de las visitas obligadas también disfruté de uno de mis pasatiempos favoritos, los mercadillos, por eso la visita a Izmailovo no me decepcionó nada, totalemente recomendable a los que vayais de visita!

I landed in Baku exactly 29 minutes after midnight so eventho after almost 12 hours of traveling it was a straight to bed sort of situation I could tell it was a special city I just had arrived to. The next day (last friday) we were all taken to Sumakn, an amazing local restaurant where I think we had everysingle thing on the menu, all so yummy! Later, after a bit of sightseeing and window shopping we went back to the hotel to get ready for the night, and head to the port, where the grand opening of Emporium, the most impressive, big and luxurious concept store I've ever been, was taking place. Built right in front of the Caspian sea, this three floor white heaven has the best selection of brands, from young designers like Mary Katrantzou or Christopher Kane to Prada, Armani or Givenchy just to name a few.

Aterricé en Baku exactamente 29 minutos después de medianoche así que, aunque después de 12 horas de viaje era una cuestión de ir directamente a la cama sí o sí, ya me di cuenta de que la ciudad a la que acabB de llegar era algo especial. Al día siguiente (el viernes pasado) nos llevaron a comer a Sumakn, un restaurante local para chuparse los dedos! Despues de un poco de visita turistica y compras nos fuimos al hotel para prepararnos para una gran noche e irnos al puerto, donde la gran inauguración de Emporium, la tienda más impresionante, grande y lujosa que he visto jamás. Construida justo en frente del mar Caspio, este paraíso de tres plantas tiene la mejor selección de ropa, desde diseñadores jóvenes como Mary Katrantzou o Christopher Kane a Prada, Armani o Givenchy, por nombrar algunos.

So there, between amazing clothes, huge screens , canapes and champagne, a live performance and a little gig I had the chance to get to know other blogger like the lovely Andy from Stylescrapbook, sweet Shini from Parkandcube and, of course, mr Yvan from Facehunter who I already knew and who I happen to bump into everywhere in the world, this man never stops! This mixture between the historic city and the modernity of Emporium was the key for such a exciting gathering. Only one day in Azerbaijan's capital, Baku, was enough to realize how many wonderful cities like this are waiting to be discovered... If you ever happen to be in Baku, like, for example next May for Eurovision festival, don't forget to pop by Emporium, a truly desirable space with even more desirable pieces

Asi que ahí mismo, entre ropa increíble, pantallas gigantes, canapés y champagne, actuaciones en vivo y un pequeño concierto, tuve el placer de conocer mejor a Andy de Stylescrapbook, Shini de Parkandcube y, por supuesto a Yvan de Facehunter a quien ya conocía y al que no paro de encontrarme por todo el mundo, este tio no para! Esta mezcla entre la historica ciudad y la modernidad de Emporium fue la llave para una mezcla de gente tan especial. Solo un día en la capital de Azerbayan, Baku, fue suficiente para darme cuenta cuantas mas ciudades maravillosas estaran por ahí esperando ser descubiertas... De verdad, si por alguna razón visitas Baku, como por ejemplo en Mayo del año que viene para el festival de Eurovisión, no te olvides de pasarte por Emporium, un lugar fantástico lleno de piedras preciosas

Just got back from the Armani store opening in Barcelona and realized It is still gonna be an hectic few weeks ahead. And while all the magazine awards dinners still take place here and there, I'm gonna be flying all over the world, and I'm well excited about it. This weekend I'm visiting Baku, in Azerbaijan, for the exciting opening of a multi-brand store called Emporium. Then a couple of days at the exciting city of Moscow, I've never been in Russia so tips about exciting must see places are extra welcome! Then in Madrid for a few days before I head to New York City for the exciting-i-can't-wait-to-see Versace + H&M fashion show in November. Oh my days, can't wait for it all!

Acabo de llegar de la apertura de la nueva tienda de Armani en Barcelona y me he dado cuenta que todavía quedan unas cuantas semanas de no parar. Y mientras todavía estamos en epoca de cenas de gala y entregas de premios de revistas yo estare volando por el mundo, y no sabeis que ganas tengo! Este finde estare de visita en Baku, en Azerbaijan, para la inauguración de Emporium, una tienda multi-marca. Despues un par de días en la excitante ciudad de Moscú, nunca he estado en Rusia asi que cualquier consejo de sitios/tiendas que no me pueda perder sera bienvenido! Luego Madrid por unos días antes de embarcar de nuevo en un viaje relampago a Nueva York para el desfile de Versace + H&M a principios de Noviembre. Madre mia, que ganas!

Paradiso Perduto Boy

Ley me clarify from he begining that I don't have much knowlege about movies or music and I do not want to get into moviegoers discussions. I only know what I like and what I don't, and it never really has been a problem because regarding these issues I always try to keep my mouth shut. However, during my visit to the Botanic Garden in Madrid this week, I remembered a movie that I've always loved, from the soundtrack to the exclusively green costumes, Great Expectations. Those who have seen it shall quickly know that the title of this post lives up to this incredible palace where the wonderful Ms. Nora Digger lives, a lady that woke up in me the love for the truly eccentric. Arguably, the film talks about fate, love and the many misunderstandings that surround us, and I think these are the thoughts that always come to my mind when walking through a garden like this or even the beautiful San Francisco park of Oviedo (where I grew up), and the truth is one can not expect to be understood by everybody. Spaces like this make you think a lot,
and I thought how very very happy I am that y dreams are coming true

Dejádme desde el principio aclarar que no tengo muchos conocimientos sobre cine, ni música y que no me quiero meter en debates de cinéfilos. Simplemente atiendo a lo que me gusta y lo que no, y la verdad es que nunca me ha resultado un problema ya que en estos temas suelo permanecer callado. Sin embargo, durante mi visita al Jardin Botanico de Madrid esta semana, me acordé de una pelicula que siempre me ha encantado, desde su banda sonora, hasta el estricto color verde del vestuario, Great Expectations. Los que la hayais visto sabreis rápidamente que el titulo del post hace honor a ese increíble palacio abandonado donde vive la maravillosa señora Nora Digger, mujer que desde el segundo uno despertó en mi el amor por lo excentrico. Podría decirse que la pelicula trata de la suerte, del amor y de las multiples incompresiones que nos rodean, y creo que estos son los pensamientos que siempre me vendrán a la cabeza cuando paseo por un jardín como éste o por el mismo Parque San Franciso de Oviedo (donde crecí), y es que uno no puede esperar ser comprendido por todos... Los espacios así te hacen pensar, y yo he pensado en lo feliz que soy de que mis sueños, poco a poco se esten haciendo realidad

The Dior event

A couple of nights ago took place the Dior event at the Cibeles Palace in Madrid, known as the Feast of Autumn to which I attended with David. The palace turned its courtyard in a french garden, where we enjoyed drinks and canapes while a 4D fashion show was projected on the facade (check video below) before my mate Marcelo Burlon made us all dance with his Dj set. The dresscode for men was striclty black suit (boring!) so as due to all the opportunutues to experiment with colors I had, I endedep up wearing a suit matched with a black Comme Des Garcons kilt/shorts, Prada shoes and a Christopher Kane aqua clutch

Hace un par de noches Dior celebró lo que se conoce ya como la fiesta de Otoño en el increíble Palacio de Ciebeles al que atendí con David. El palacio convirtió su patio interior en un jardin frances por todo lo alto y, entre copas y canapés, se proyectó un desfile en 4D sobre la fachada justo antes de que Marcelo Burlon nos hiciera a todos bailar con su Dj set. El dresscode para los hombres era traje negro (bostezo) así que como no había muchas posibilidades de experimentar con colores, con lo que me gustan últimamente, y cumpliendo con el riguroso total black, llevé traje con kilt de Comme des Garcons, zapatos Prada y el aqua clutch de Christopher Kane por el que transparentaba la invitación

It was about time a bit of fresh weather hit Madrid. So yesterday, for first time I had a chance to wear this vintage denim jacket I fell in love with ever since my sister bought it during a school trip to Rome many years ago. My mum stole it first and it has now been kidnaped by me, it really feels like a treasure to me. No kidding. Also feels great to leave the shoe-ing aside for a bit and go back to my skater roots with this comfy and always in style Vans. Happy autumn everyone!

Por fií el tiempo refresca un poco en Madrid. Ayer, por primera vez, pude ponerme esta chaqueta vaquera vintage de la que me enamoré desde que mi hermana la trajera de un viaje de fin de curso hace muchos años. Mi madre se la robó primero y ahora la he secuestrado yo, de verdad es como un tesoro para mi. Y otro puntazo es dejar un poco tanto zapato duro y volver a mis raices de skater con mis vans, comodas y bonitas. Feliz otoño!

I finally got them!

I think I've never own such original/amazing shoes and definitely haven't been this excited about new shoes since my dad bought me those trainers with lights in the early 90s. I've een obsessed with this pinoccio-esque wood print Dr Martens by Davidelfin since the presentation last May in Ekseption (Madrid store) and they arrived just in time for autumn. yay!

Creo que nunca he tenido unos zapatos tan originales y la verdad es que no me habían ilusionado tanto unos zapatos desde que mi padre me compró aquellas zapatillas de deporte con luz verde en el talón que se iluminaban al caminar y a los que mi madre estaba completamente opuesta.

Llevo obsesionado con estos Dr Marten con print de madera creados por Davidelfin desde su presentación en Ekseption el pasado mes de Mayo y que alegría que han llegado a tiempo para el otoño!

I never planned anything for Katelovesme, everything happens organically to be honest, so I think the best attiude to have towards it is just to let it happen, go with the flow, and don't get too stressed. If I plan something for my blog, and it doesn't go according to plan I could get frustrated, and that's something I don't want with my blog, because it's something enjoyable for me and I don't do it as an obbigation

I still get this butterfly feeling in my stomach when I browse trough a magazine and you see my face a4 size! Probably a good sign. Lately it has been a non-stop, this is arriving at the Armani show last week in Milan.

I don't normally do the suit thing with tie and all so this is preppiest I could look under the killing heat that hit the city during the fashion week. I was wearing vintage military shorts and shirt, TopMan blazer, Uniqlo tie, Prada shoes and sporting the bag of the year, the Chanel boy bag.

Últimamente no he parado, esta foto es de la semana pasada llegando al desfile de Giorgio Armani en Milán. Normalmente no me mola el rollo traje (corbata incluida) así que este es el look más formal que puedo conseguir bajo el calor abrasador que hacía en la ciudad durante toda la semana de la moda. Llevaba pantalones militares cortos y camisa vintage, chaqueta de traje de Topman, corbata de Uniqlo, zapatos y Prada y también el bolso del año, el boy bag de Chanel.

Anybody who knows me a bit knows that I love Grazia Magazine (UK), a pro-celebrity and fashion enthusiastic magazine where I always find out about new brands, interesting articles and, ok, a bit of gossip. That's why I was so happily surprised when Gala (Gonzalez) visited me at my hotel last week carrying a copy of Grazia's BIGGEST FASHION ISSUE ever and where I was featured, again, among the talented hottest men in fahsion, what an honour!

Cualquiera que me conozca un poco sabe que soy un fiel seguidor de la versión inglesa de la revista Grazia, de visión pro-celebrity, entusiasta por la moda, donde siempre descubro marcas nuevas, artículos interesantes y, bueno vale, algo de marujeo. Yesterday I attended the Dsquared2 show on the last day of Milan Fashion Week. Thank you Dean and Dan for this unexpected trip to Glastonbury (including real mud on the catwalk) while my stay in Italy! It was like seeing walking up and doing dozens of Kate Moss or Sienna Millers arriving to the festival. Wearable yet special, commercial yet elaborated. These boys know well what girls actually want to wear. Here's the finale from my seat, Anna Dello Russo and I (we sat together) were so scared to get mud on us!

Ayer, último día de la semana de la moda de Milan, fui al desfile de Dsquared2 y quería agradecerles a Dean y a Dan el insperado viaje relámpago a Glastonbury (barro real en la pasarela incluido) durante mi visita a Italia! Fue como ver caminando para arriba y para abajo a docenas de Kate Mosses y Sienna Millers llegando al festival. Muy ponible pero especial, comercial pero muy elaborado. Estos chicos saben bien los que las chicas, al final, acaban poniendose. Exactly from the moment that someone actually whistled very loud as if we were about to watch a game it took 17min for the collection that I was looking forward to see so much to go up and down the turned-into-pitch catwalk . Quick and precise, just like Christopher Kane (head of design for Versus) way to the top and just like the rebirth of the brand since he took over among with Donatella. We get it, fashion is clearly a game. Personally I loved those cheer leader-esque dresses, elbow-less tops and, of course, those sky high patent leather heels. Looks like pastels are gonna hit the streets hard next spring, and if it's with some of these pieces it'll be a good thing.

Justo desde que alguien pegó un fuerte silbido como si estuvieramos a punto de presenciar un partido fueron 17min para que la colección que tantas ganas tenía de ver fuera para arriba y para abajo de la cancha-pasarela. Rápido y preciso, como la carrera de Christopher Kane (director de diseño de Versus) y como el resurgimiento de la marca desde que él está al frente junto con Donatella. Vale, lo pillamos, la moda es un juego. Personalmente me encantaron esos vestidos de animadora, la chaqueta rosa sin codos y, por supuesto, esos taconazos de charol. Parece ser que los colores pastel van a dar fuerte la primavera que viene, y si es con alguna de estas prendas será algo bueno.

Ok, it has been a great experience from the beginning. My first VERSACE show, in capital letters. That's the way you organize a fashion show. The lovely Versace pr people picked me up at the entrance so I didn't have to do any of the two queue at both sides of the entrance. Once inside I walk around looking for my seat. On my way I say hi to Nati Abascal (Spanish celebrity), who I got introduced to by Giambatistta Valli at his studio over a year ago, she was wearing red, looking fantastic. And after that a little chat with Christopher Kane, to wish him luck for Sunday (Versus show), I find my seat, which couldn't be a better one. The lights go brighter and the music rises, the Versace magic begun. Sexy versace-sque silhouettes from the beginning, enhanced waist lines, pleats and sea details like shells and starfishes crashed against studs and platforms worthy of Demi Moore at Streaptease. The pastel green/yellowy/blueish color pallet contrasts with some black outfits that showed Donatella's most rebel side. I get emotional thinking about how proud Gianni would feel if he could see his little sister. Once the show finished I went backstage to introduce myself but turned out she already knew who I was, not only I get surprised but I feel flattered when she thanks me for coming in to see her. Vale, ha sido toda una experiencia desde el principio. Mi primer desfile de VERSACE, en mayusculas.

Así se organiza un desfile señores. Los PR de Versace me recogieron en la entrada para que no tuviera que hacer ninguna de las dos larguisimas colas que había a ambos lados de la entrada. Una vez dentro me recorro la pasarela en busca de mi asiento. De camino saludo a Nati Abascal, a la que Giambatistta Valli me había presentado en su estudio hace algo mas de un año, va de rojo, fantástica. Luego, despues de una pequeña charla con Christopher Kane, deseandole suerte para el desfile del domingo (Versus, que no me perdere) enuentro mi asiento, el mejor posible. Las luces tenues toman fuerza y la música comienza. La magia de Versace comenzaba. Siluetas sexys muy versaceianas desde el comienzo, cinturas marcadas, plisados y motivos maritimos como conchas y estrellas chocaban con tachuelas y plataformas dignas de una Demi Moore en Streaptease. La paleta de colores pastel verde/amarillenta/azulada contrastaba con un negro rotundo que deja ver el lado mas rebelde de Donatella. Me emociono pensando lo orgulloso que estaría Gianni si viera a su hermanita. Al terminar el desfile paso a backstage a presentarme, pero resulta que ella ya me conoce, y eso no solo me sorprende sino que me halaga dándome las gracias por haber venido a verla. Cortesía y elegancia a la italiana, eso es Versace.

As I expected Prada did not disappoint with a collection worthy of a Grease remake.

The girls sported pleated bicolor skirts, pastel shades, leather, little flowers... To cut story short, only a woman like Miuccia can mix all that with 50's prints, cars and flames (and like in the men's show, studded bags) and get away with it. Here you are the finale from my front row seat!

Como era de esperar Prada no nos decepcionó con una colección digna de un remake de Grease. Chicas con faldas plisadas bicolores, tonos pastel, piel, florecitas... En fin, que solo una mujer como Miuccia podría mezclarlo todo con prints años 50, cochecitos y llamas (y, como en la versión masculina, bolsos con tachuelas) y salir airosa. Cuando alguien me enseña un arco-iris siempre trato de recordar cuando fue la última vez que vi uno, y donde estaba. Me pasó lo mismo cuando ví el último desfile primavera/verano 2012 de Davidelfin, Katharsis, me pregunté cuando y donde fue la última vez que vi algo tan bonito y tan autentico. La respuesta es fácil, hace seis meses, en el mismo sitio. Las colecciones de David siempre me tocan, de una manera o de otra, son tan especiales, tan particulares y con tanto sentimiento que me quedo sin palabras, incapaz de escribir una crítica con sentido... Me he quedado deslumbrado, Katharsis ha sido como mirar directamente al sol, por la vitalidad, el colorido y la energía que me han transmitido, y porque he tenido el placer de colaborar con David en el diseño de los bolsos, junto a Christian Louboutin (tacones), Dr Martens (zapatos) y Mawi (joyas). Que ganas de que llegue la primavera que viene y ponermelo absolutamente todo! (menos los tacones y los vestidos, claro)

Everytime someone shows me a rainbow I try to remember when was the last time I saw one, and where was I. The same happened while watching the last Davidelfin's ss12 show, named Katharsis, I wondered when and where was the last time I saw something so beautiful and so authentic. The answer was easy, six months ago and at the same place. David's collections always touch me, in a way or another, they are so special, so unique and with so much feeing I can barely manage to type a single word... I got blinded by it, Katharsis has been like looking straight into the sun, for its vitality, wise use of colour, its good energy, and because I had the pleasure of collaborating with David in the design of the bags, among Christian Louboutin (shoes), Dr Martens and Mawi (jewelry). I just can't wait for spring and wear absoutely everything! (minus the heels or the dresses, obvs)

Yes, missed the VFNO here in New York City but I'm still in time to help selecting the looks that I hope all of you are posting on Diet Coke's facebook page, from wherever you are, to get a chance to have your picture on a billboard in Times Square! Deadline on Monday midnight! so hurry, hurry! After intense hours of important meetings, pleasure dinners, art openings, pop-up store launches and some partying (yes, in the last 24h) I'm off to some shows like Lacoste (already been), Helmunt Lang, Alexander Wang and Asher Levine. All that before the Custo dinner at the Spanish Embassy. Yep, quite a day, which will finish with the Love Magazine + Alexander Wang party!

Llegué un día tarde a la ciudad que nunca duerne, pero llegué. Sí, me perdí la VFNO aquí en Nueva York pero todavía estoy a tiempo para seleccionar los looks que espero que esteis posteando en la página de facebook de Diet Coke, desde donde esteis, para tener la oportunidad de que vuestra foto salga en un panel gigante en el mismisimo Times Square! Fecha limite el lunes a medianoche! Y bueno, despues de unas intensas horas de reuniones importantes, cenas de placer, inauguraciones de arte, aperturas de tiendas pop-up y un poco de fiesta (sí, en las utimas 24 horas) me voy a pasar el día de desfiles como el de Lacoste (que ya ha sido), Helmunt Lang, Alexander Wang y Asher Levine. Todo esto antes de la cena de Custo en la Embajada de Espana. Sí, un día cargadito, que culminará con la fiesta de Love Magazine + Alexander Wang!

So another fashion week-month is about to start and it couldn't possibly be in a busier month for me, oh well, that's september for you all! This thursday I'm flying to New York, then Madrid, Milan and possibly Paris! I can't wait to see what designers from all over the world have to say about what we should wear next summer, and I'm double excited about the atmospheres outside the shows, who wears what, the dinners and the parties! I'm personally looking forward to attending Wang in New York, Davidelfin in Madrid, and Prada, Dolce&Gabbana and Dsquared2 in Milan, but always open to a good young designer show! And about my label I hope my second collection will be ready in time for Christmas... Sorry I can't credit the photographers of these images, although I can spot Tommy behind me, hey hey Tommy Ton!

Otro mes de semanas de moda esta a punto de empezar y no podría ser en un mes con mas lio para mi, pero bueno, eso es Septiembre para todos! Este jueves vuelo a Nueva York, luego a Madrid, Milan y quizá Paris! Me muero por ver lo que los diseñadores tienen pensado para que nos pongamos el verano que viene, y estoy doblemente excitado por sentir la atmósfera de la calle pre-desfile, ver quién lleva el que, las cenas y las fiestas! Quién me iba a decir a mi que una sala de espera sería el lugar idóneo para mi primera, insisto primera, compra por internet? Yo mismo me pregunto cómo es posible que se me hayan escapado tantas cosas bonitas por mi miedo a la compra on-line? Una persona tan 2.0 como yo no debería de estar confesando semejante torpeza. Bueno, el caso es que llevaba varios días pensando en este maravillo clutch de plástico de Christopher Kane y en su relleno de vomitada de unicornio cuando algo hizo click dentro de mi cabeza durante la espera en aquella silla, era algo indispensable para las tres (o cuatro) fashion weeks a las que asistiré esta temporada. Como si fuera a cámara lenta mi teléfono me desquiciaba y me llevaba por los diferentes pasos para la compra... que si elige diseñador, elige color, que si introduce número de tarjeta de crédito, que si danos tu e-mail... Y cuando estaba a punto de desistir y estampar el teléfono contra la pared leí aquella maravillosa frase de dos simples palabras: compra completa. Ahora solo queda el fin de semana mas largo de la historia para que esté en mis manos. Llámame superficial o tonto, a mi me da igual, pero esto que parece un estuche de cielo líquido me hace mucha, mucha ilusión, y qué ganas de volver al medico!

Who could imagine the waiting room at the doctor would be where my first, (yes, my first), shopping online experience would take place? I ask myself how come I left go so many beautiful items in the past only because I was so scared of on-line shopping? Someone as 2.0 as I am shouldn't be confessing this kind of clumsiness. Anyway, the thing is I've been thinking for quite some time about getting this out-of-this-world Christopher Kane clutch and on his unicorn vomit filling when something clicked in my head while waiting on that chair: it was something essential for those three -or four- fashion weeks I'll be attending this season. Like on slow motion my phone was driving me crazy, and was taking me trough every single step for my purchase: choose designer, item, type credit card number, gives us your email... I was about to give up and smash my phone against the wall when that two word sentence appeared on screen: purchase complete. Now I'm having the longest weekend ever waiting for it to arrive, hopefully, on Monday. I don't know, call me superficial or silly, but this thing that looks like liquid sky really excited me, I can't wait to go back to the doctor!

I'm on my own little rainbow world and totally forgot to blog about this event that, for once, didn't take my camera with me so there is not much photographic material to show you. So ELLE magazine Spain's 25th aniversary was only two days after I turned 25 years old too, so what better to double celebrate than this awards dinner where I had the pleasure to share table with David Delfin (with me on the pictures), Carmen Lomana and Natasha Yarovenko among others!

Como vivo en mi pequeño mundo de arcoiris me olvidé de escribir un post sobre este evento al cual, por primera vez, no lleve mi cámara, por lo que no hay mucho material fotográfico para enseñaros. Resulta que el 25 aniversario de la edición española de la revista ELLE fue dos días despues de que yo mismo cumpliera 25 años también, así que que mejor manera que celebrar por partida doble con una entrega de premios con cena de gala incluida, en la que tuve el placer de compartir de mesa con David Delfin (conmigo en las fotos), Carmen Lomana y Natasha Yarovenko entre otras!

super friend Margot Bowman did using my sketchbook and my collection and which ended up being my portfolio

for the exhibition we did at Central Saint Martins. Nothing better than two people mutually proud of one

another working together, right? I hope you like!

the hair and make up of the show was so rubbish (i couldn't choose) and the models were so badly

dressed (We weren't allowed to dress them) that I wasn't that happy about the show but the quantity of

emails from you, beloved followers, curious about it, makes feel like I owe it all to you and deserve to

see it. Short, uncomplete and badly edited, but here it is. Enjoy!

Me acabo de dar cuenta de que todavía no publiqué la increíble mini-revista que la diseñadora gráfica,

artista y sobretodo, super amiga ha hecho usando mi sketchbook y mi colección, y la cual se convirtió

en mi portafolio para la exhibición que hicimos en Central Saint Martins. Nada mejor que dos

personas que se admiran mutuamente para trabajar juntas verad? Y respondiendo a los muchos que

me preguntasteis dónde se podía ver el video de mi colección: La verdad es que la calidad del video

era tan mala, el maquillaje y la peluquería tan mierda (no pudimos elegir) y las modelos estaban tan

mal vestidas (no se nos permitia vestir a nuestras propias modelos) que nunca estuve muy orgulloso del

desfile en sí. Sin embargo la cantidad de vuestros emails, queridos seguidores y seguidoras, curiosos

por el video, me ha hecho darme cuenta de que os lo debo todo a vosotros y que os mereceis verlo.

Corto, incompleto y mal editado, pero aqui esta. Espero que os guste!

Floral + Stripes = Paradise

I think I might be developing a bit of a obsessive compulsive behavior in what refers to colourful arty

walls. Madrid seems to have much more of these that any other city I know (correct me if I'm wrong),

and it's a plus when that wall matches really well with what am wearing. I totally felt in the Carebbean

when I bumped into this palm-tree-sunsety wall while wearing these floral davidfelfin shorts,

Jil Sander t-shirt, Vivienne Westwood necklace and my beloved Prada shoes

Creo que estoy desarrollando un comportamiento obsesivo compusivo hacia paredes con colorinchis,

formas gráficas o dibujos bonitos en general. Parece ser que en Madrid hay mas paredes de estas que

en ninguna otra ciudad que haya estado (corregirme si me equivoco), y es un plus cuando ésta

conjunta medianamente bien con lo que llevo puesto. Me sentí totalmente de vuelta en el Caribe

cuando me encontré con esta pared con puesta de sol y palmeras incluidas.

No, I haven't been kidnaped by uneducated groups of vandalic teenagers or anything like that,

I'm just enjoying summer in Madrid (with little trips here and there), where I find peace, love, tapas and

sunny days. I do feel a bit restless tho, can't wait for the busy month of September to arrive and go to

fashion weeks here and there (New York, Madrid, Milan here I come!!!) but for now I'm counting the

days to be in Mallorca and Ibiza, happy summer everyone!

Not every day you get a whole page in VOGUE magazine talking about one of your latest jobs...

That's why when I landed in Madrid a couple of weeks ago and bought Vogue I was extra happy to find

myself in page 51, where they talk about the successful project I did with Giorgio Armani that ended in

a massive party in Barcelona. I really hope this project stimulate other brands and generate attraction not

only for my work and vision, but for all the young people with talent around the world.

No todos los días a uno le dan una página entera en VOGUE para hablar de uno de sus últimos

trabajos. Por eso cuando hace un par de semanas aterricé en Madrid y compre la revista Vogue me

puse extra feliz al verme en la página 51, donde hablan sobre el éxito del proyecto que hice con

Giorgio Armani que culminó en una fiesta de inauguración en Barcelona. Como ya dije en la

entrevista, espero que este proyecto estimule a otras marcas y se interesen no sólo por mi trabajo

y mi visión, sino por toda la gente jóven con talento.

Really happy when this morning, popped to shop for some milk with my new shoes I bought a couple of
weeks ago while visiting Cadiz, bumped into this wall painting which totally reminded me of my artist
friend Margot. Not so crazy about the helmet with horns but I'm so into this kind of paintings, it gives
me lot of energy and good vibes, totally summer feeling!

Hello everyone from Cadiz, south Spain, where I'm invited to this fashion contest named South 36.32n!

Last tuesday was my birthday and I can say it was the best birthday ever! Not only because I'm in the

happiest on earth but also because it was a day full of events, fun and the

best thing anyone could wish for now a days, work.

In the morning I attended the Iberostar event that I recently blogged about, then I had strawberry daikiris

for lunch at a very special place and in the evening there were the GQ + Ermenegildo Zegna most

elegant men awards and an exclusive dinner with Candy Pratts, both of these events with the best

company I could wish for, David Delfin. All this in Madrid. And since I got several emails regarding

what I was wearing on my birthday night here are the details: Prada lurex polo, vintage shorts,

Alexander McQueen clutch, Balenciaga leather gillet & shoes.

Hola a todos desde Cádiz, donde estoy como invitado en el certamen de moda South 36.32n!

El pasado martes fue mi cumpleaños y puedo decir que fue el mejor de toda mi vida! No solo porque

estoy en una fase muy feliz sino también porque fue un día lleno de eventos, diversión y la mejor cosa

que uno podria pedir en estos días, trabajo.

Por la mañana asistí al evento de presentación de Iberostar que publiqué hace poco, despues me fuí a
tomar unos daikiris y de comida a un sitio realmente especial y por la noche tenía lugar la entrega de
premios a los hombres más elegantes de la mano de GQ y Ermenegildo Zegna para más tarde cenar
con Candy Pratts, todo esto gozando de la mejor compañía que podría pedir, la de David Delfín. Todo
esto en Madrid, claro. Y ya que muchos de vosotros me habeis preguntado que llevaba en la noche de
mi cumpleaños aquí van los detalles: Polo de Prada, pantalones cortos vintage, bolso de mano

Alexander McQueen y zapatos y chaleco de piel ambos de Balenciaga.

Alaska & Mario, The wedding

Era la primera vez que asistía a una boda (a parte de cuando tenía 4 años que mi tia se casaba al mas
puro estilo telenovela de tv1) y estaba casi tan entusiasmado como los propios Mario y Alaska!

Unos amigos de Mario y yo fuimos a buscarlo a su casa, charlar y tomarnos algo mientras David,
que le había hecho un traje azul-Elvis a Mario precioso, le ayudaba a prepararse. Todo un lujazo
en esa casa en el que un cuadro cruziforme de Mark Ryden me hipnotiza cada vez que voy de visita,
al igual que la "vitrina de las reliquias" con objetos de los que no podria ni mencionar...

El caso es que entre griterío, cámaras de televisión, purpurina y nervios llegamos al Hotel Emperador,

situado en la Gran Via madrileña, donde tenía lugar el enlace y desde donde se podía apreciar una puesta
de sol digna de una eternidad juntos.

Los anillos los llevo al altar Cocolicho, el perro del fotógrafo por excelencia Juan Gatti

Tras el enlace todos pasamos a la zona de cocktail, ambientada en lo que parecía la canción
Disneylandia del amor, con carritos de perritos calientes, nubes de algodon, hamburgesas,
buffet globos y luces!

El leopardo fue, en honor a Alaska, una gran tendencia en la ceremonia!

Me rio tanto con Carmen Lomana, Topazio y Mario... guapas!
Aquí os dejo un pequeño video de los enamorados bailando y partiendo la tarta, tuve que dejar de grabar
para poder saltar a por el ramo, que no conseguí, pero que espero no me haga falta para casarme...
