Once again, memories from this past Paris Fashion Week. I had the pleasure to sit front row once again

 at the Miu Miu show. The spot on modern industrial setting by Rem Koolhaas moved us aside from

 interpreting the collection with nostalgia or a strong reminiscent of the past, focusing on what Mecca

 wanted to say with these women. They made me think they lived by the sea, were married to a sailor

or working in a fish market (a extremely luxurious one, of course) in 2020. That might not sound very

 futuristic, maybe because we mistakenly think of the future like if we won´t do the jobs we do

  nowadays, have the same routines or dress in a very similar way. And that´s what Miuccia always

 does so well, she always thinks about a very realistic future, but the future after all.

Una vez más os traigo recuerdos de esta pasada semana de la moda de París. Tuve el placer una vez

 más de admirar el desfile de Miu Miu desde la primera fila. Empezando por el acertado y moderno

 setting de Rem Koolhass, que me alejó de interpretar la colección con nostalgia o reminiscencias del

 pasado centrándome en lo que Miuccia quería decir con estas mujeres. Me hicieron pensar que vivían

 cerca de un puerto, casadas con un marinero o trabajadoras de una lonja del pescado (una muy lujosa,

 claro) en el año 2020. Todo esto  puede que no suene muy futurista, quizas por el erroneo concepto del

futuro que tenemos, como si no fueran a hacer los mismos trabajos que ahora, tener las mismas rutinas o

 vestir de una forma muyparecida. Y eso es lo que Miuccia hace tan bien, pensar en un futuro verosímil.
