At Juan Gatti´s place in BA, Alaska & Mario at the exhibition and some examples of Juan Gatti´s work
During my visit to Buenos Aires a couple of months ago we attended the opening of Juan Gatti´s
exhibition: Contra Luz, the first ever compilation of his greatest work. Juan Gatti is not just and artist,
is an image genius. Throughout the exhibition I marbled at his work during his period as art director for
Vogue Italy, his beautiful movie posters for most iconic Pedro Almodovar movies and fell in love with
his latest pieces of art, these silk scarves I´ve been wearing non stop lately.
Durante mi visita a Buenos Aires hace un par de meses asistimos a la inauguración de la exposición de
Juan Gatti: Contra Luz, la primera recopilación de sus mejores trabajos realizados para el cine, moda o
música y la obra que hizo para él mismo en riguroso blanco y negro. Juan Gatti no es sólo un artista, es
un verdadero genio de la imágen. Durante la exposición flipé con el trabajo que hizo durante su
periodo como director de arte para Vogue Italia, sus maravillosos carteles para las películas mas
icónicas de Pedro Almodovar y me enamoré de su última obra de arte, estos pañuelos de
seda que no he dejado de ponerme.
