Gala in Chanel, me in Davidelfin for YOOX and Miranda in Dior
This week, just like every february during fashion week in Madrid, was the Larios Party, wich is
always kind of a big deal here in Spain. This year Larios asked different talented people all over
the country to make 12 short movies, one for each month, to create a calendar, and they asked
Gala, Miranda and I to represent February, which was filmed in our beloved London. So
right after the premiere of the first four short movies, we were ready to party!

Gala, Akiko and I, wearing Davindelfin S/S 2011
Photo courtesy of Martin M. Aleñar
Davidelfin is one of those designers for whose show you can expect anything, he doesn´t waste
time with club music to make their models strike sexy poses on a plain catwalk. When the
show starts, it actually means show, art show. For this season, called Diogenes Syndrome,
David placed 200 kilos of clothes at the end of the catwalk, a clear Diogenes case but an arty
one, as it was a wink to Boltanski, one of his favourite artists. The clothes on the models,
however looked light and tailored, free yet constructed and controlled,
but more than anything, beautiful.

I landed in Madrid on friday really excited to meet friends and family, and my
every-six-months-lover, fashion week. The first show I attended was AA from Amaya Arzuaga.
Here I am again with my two favourite spanish beauties, Miranda and Gala sitting at front row at
the AA from Amaya Arzuaga show.
Here's the video from the finale

Grazia magazine is one of those pro-celebrity magazine that one enjoys reading every week,
and I've been doing so ever since I moved to London six years ago now, time flies!
Knowing that my beloved it-girl Gala Gonzalez was featured on this week's issue I went
trough the pages to discovered I was there too!
The article is called "Hot fashion men alert!" and talks about how in this industry,
the fashion's best talents are, well, handsome guys...
I have to say I feel very honored to share a double page with big names like Tom Ford,
Roland Mouret, Lazaro and Jack (the Proenza boys), Jon Kortajarena, Jonathan Saunders, Sebastien Jondeau...
A long list of international photographers, fashion designers, models and me, the only blogger featured in the article.
The picture used was taken by Katja Hentschel
gorro y unas gafas negras enormes, estaba guapisima...
Roland Mouret, Lazaro and Jack (los chicos Proenza), Jon Kortajarena, Jonathan Saunders,
Sebastien Jondeau...

waited for a day like today, 14th february, to show you, from the 9th floor of Central Saint
Martins, my latest acquisition!

I've always liked camouflage on clothes, even when it was trendy and I had to watch it on every
single person crossing the road. For the past few months I've been wearing it quite a lot and I
think it's because I've been fighting for so many things lately...
In the pictures I'm wearing a camouflage polo shirt from Uniqlo, corduroy trousers from
Topman, Dr Marten boots and those little crosses I pinned on my chest pocket are a little
wink to that amazing time I spent last year working at McQ from Alexander McQueen studio.

I know, I know, I've been crazy busy getting ready my final
project for Saint Martins and I've been traveling back and forth
for a couple of events in Spain, so apologies for having this
a bit abandoned...
Today I wanted to talk about URBAN OUTFITTERS and the new
amazing, huge Spitalfields store, where today I spent over an hour.
Before Christmas we danced the tunes of Margot and Bip's dj set at
the opening party but it was too crowded to shop (or drink).
But now I managed to put my hands on this military green shirt from
Urban Renewal and DR Denim jeans (both from URBAN OUTFITTERS),
Dior Homme jacket, Dr Marten boots and necklaces from mynamenecklace
