I finally got them!
I think I've never own such original/amazing shoes and definitely haven't been this excited about new shoes since my dad bought me those trainers with lights in the early 90s. I've een obsessed with this pinoccio-esque wood print Dr Martens by Davidelfin since the presentation last May in Ekseption (Madrid store) and they arrived just in time for autumn. yay!

Creo que nunca he tenido unos zapatos tan originales y la verdad es que no me habían ilusionado tanto unos zapatos desde que mi padre me compró aquellas zapatillas de deporte con luz verde en el talón que se iluminaban al caminar y a los que mi madre estaba completamente opuesta.
Llevo obsesionado con estos Dr Marten con print de madera creados por Davidelfin desde su presentación en Ekseption el pasado mes de Mayo y que alegría que han llegado a tiempo para el otoño!

i feel as though, the obsessive over posting about Davidelfin(though a brilliant designer) is extremely biased& beginning to become a little waring. just change the name of the blog to Davidelfin Loves me and call it a day. its beginning to become your one note identity.
but don't get me wrong, love the blog. but commentators feel free to call me a "hater," or whatever words you choose to say. but honestly if you put yourself out there you hold be able to take a critique. much like i am now.

Agree with anonymous. This unfortunately eventually happens to all fashion bloggers as they become totally immersed in the industry and the world of freebies. They ultimately will lose any sense of objectivity and it becomes an advertising tool for themselves and their 'designer' buddies. Sad really as this blog used to stand out. Symptomatic though of the industry.

Not that a I have to give explanations to anyone about what I decide to post or not in this, my blog.
Davidelfin is not just the most talented designer I know but i also have the pleasure of knowing him well and I have recently collaborated with him designing a collection of bags for his latest collection.
He's the first person (besides myself) that has given me a chance to show my designs and trusted me after graduating in Fashion Design at Saint Martins last July.
I always support whoever supports my work and thats the reason anyone who visits katelovesme will often find posts about Davidelfin, Mawi, Armani... etc
They know me, support me, support katelovesme and any decision I take
Also I don't think I need to say my words are always real and are not influenced by anyone, that has always been the essence not only of katelovesme but my own, Pelayo Diaz and it always will.
It is sad that I have to reply to negative comments when everyday I receive many many MANY loving comments and great messages (here and by email) I know I should really be replying to those instead of you two, but I think sometimes is necessary to stop people's negative attitude.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I don't think my comments were particularly negative. Critical (somewhat constructively I thought) yes, but meant with a topical intention.
The world has too much negativity as it is and I certainly have no intentional of adding to it.
I commend the work you've done so far - have no doubt about that. Many people just sit on their laurels and wait for the universe to sweep them into action (and they are all probably still sitting on their laurels;) but you've have made your way in the world with aplomb and hard work, so hats off to you for that.

A ver nenes, as long Pelayín will publish stuff from Davideflín, everything's okay. The other brands... are nothing compared to Davidelfín.
You people must understand how well they work together and how compenetrated they are.... I really love the collaborations you're making with him. I believe it is a way to get Davidelfín back to were he belongs, showing his collections in NYFW!
And you know? Pelayín will published everything he wants. You're all jealous, that's all.

Este mundo es totalmente superficial donde los bloggers se han convertido en los medios de publicidad de las marcas. Me encantaría que los blogs volvieran a tener esa frescura que tenían antes. Yo antes me sentía identificada con la gente que salía en esas fotos, gente que que se expresaba a través de la moda (por muy descabellados que puedan resultar sus conjuntos), pero ahora, supongo que todo el mundo tiene un precio.
